9 September 2013 -13 June 2014

Those are the dates of my recently signed contract with a teaching agency in Istanbul. I’ll actually start with training 1 September, so I plan on going to Turkey a few days earlier so that my body can adjust. It still hasn’t sunk in that I will be teaching a little over a month; that probably will not happen until I am actually in the classroom a few weeks in. Since I have not had any experience, I will more than likely be placed with kindergartners which is actually what I would prefer. It may take more patience, but it will that much more rewarding in the end. So, here’s to a good year and my first actual job that will hopefully turn into a career.
