Hi everyone!
Elementary K - 6 and TEFL Certified.
Taught K-2 in Istanbul 2013-2016. Moved back stateside in 2016. Taught 3rd grade for three years, and now moving onto 5th math and science to 5th graders in Florida at a Title 1 school.
Studied abroad in a little town in Italy called Pisciotta summer 2012. Best time of my life. Studied in Urbino, the town where Rafaello was born, for the the fall semester of 2012.
Stayed with my husband and his family in Istanbul, Turkey for the rest of the summer of 2012 and returned 2013 after graduating.
Learning Turkish in my spare time.

My first day in Italy and I have already covered a lot of ground. Even now that I have been in Italy for hours, it really still hasn’t hit me. Although, when I first saw the Roman Coliseum my heart stopped for a moment…
Waiting at the airport….
While I was waiting at Fiumicino, I got a “Vacanze Romane” which is a doppia espresso con Sambuca. I also got a nocciola gelato. It was the best airport food that I have ever had….

Across the ocean…
In about twelve and a half hours I should be on my way to JFK to board my 7:30 PM flight to Rome, Italy for
